This study evaluated the shaping characteristics of the ProTaper Gold system (PTG; Dentsply Maillefer, Ballaigues, Switzerland) and compared it with that of the ProTaper Next (PTN, Dentsply Maillefer) and ProTaper Universal (PTU, Dentsply Maillefer) systems using micro–computed tomographic imaging.
